Hemp Collective

Welcome to the Hemp Collective Community.

We are Maxine & Mike Shea, proud founders of our family-run Australian business, Hemp Collective located in the clean-green Byron Shire.

We formulate and manufacture our luxurious Hemp Hair, Body & Pet Care products with hemp, natural ingredients & eco packaging – making life easier for our customers to live their sustainable lifestyles – naturally.

For the last 9 years, we have been researching Hemp & running Hemp Collective for 5 years. We started by growing hemp in the first few years & then created our successful Hair & Body care range & then our quality range of sustainable Pet Products; Pet Shampoo Bar, Pet Balance Hemp & Chia Seed supplement oils, Pet Balms and Horse Shampoo Bar.

Our journey with hemp started when our son was one & Maxine the founder was diagnosed with a rare TSH non-cancerous brain tumour & after an exhausting 9-month recovery from brain surgery, the tumour began to grow back.

It’s then we realised some of the products we thought were safe were actually doing more harm than good & in our research, the hemp/cannabis plant kept coming up. The statistics & clinical research studies were astonishing, including hemp’s many advantages with its high Omega content.

That’s when we introduced Hemp into our everyday life, realised the benefits and decided to share this versatile plant with others.

Consequently, Hemp Collective was born!

Our mission goes so much further than our amazing eco-product range. With a background in Zero Waste and Resource Recovery, we know first-hand how waste impacts society, and it is our mission:
‘To make our products part of the solution, not part of the problem.’

We are now sharing our knowledge to help educate people about this nutrient-rich misunderstood plant!

All of our quality products are:

100% Australian made
Made with Australian Grown Hemp
All-Natural plant-derived ingredients
Perfect for the eco-conscious consumers
Packaged in eco-friendly recyclable packaging
Cruelty-free
Eco-friendly
Easy-to-use & hold bars.

Here at Hemp Collective, the community is important to us. We value our customers & relationships and believe that together, we can cultivate sustainable empowerment & ethical consumption, creating a greener, healthier world for future generations.

Thank you for making a positive choice for your health and the planet!
